Sony
Context
Sony Pictures Television creates and designs for series showcased by streaming servies such as Netflix, HBO Max, and BBC. My team worked on developing key art for series being pitched at their annual Los Angeles Screenings. In addition, I was tasked with early-stage branding and design development for Core, a public Sony platform.
Process
Creating key art is a process that sparked a lot of joy for me. My team was briefed on each series' storyline, key characters, and photography collected on set. We pulled inspiration and went into rounds of design/feedback before our work was pitched to Sony executives and show directors.

My work on Core involved research, mood boarding, pitching, and early-stage design development including logo lockups, color schemes, and on-platform/promotional mockups.
Challenges
1. Bringing in-progress productions to life through a variety of layered compositions and title lockups.
2. Transforming Sony Core, a platform with elaborate functions and target audiences, into a contemporary & refreshing brand.

Core is a Sony platform elevating the cinematic experience through the highest quality versions of Sony's iconic films. I worked on early-stage conceptual and design work for its brand refresh. I developed these 3 looks with direction from Sony's internal art director, Andrew Kinsler, as well as mood boards, pitch decks, and a new brand voice.
